Description

Interview recovery stakeholders (if possible both internal and external stakeholders) through discovery workshops to get an understanding of the entire recovery process. Things to explore include but not limited to whether they understand their roles and responsibilities, if they feel they are capable, and whether they require training and education in order to upskill, whether they know where the processes are kept, if the processes and plans exist, and whether they are exercised, and if there exists a playbook and runbooks, and if top to bottom of the recovery team or group know the reporting, notification and escalation (a.k.a. recovery communications). Document your findings, and this will form a gap analysis for things to improve, address and/or create.
