The cyber recovery operational framework is created by Dr. Cyril Onwubiko. It has been presented at an IEEE Conference, at a Keynote Event, and Industry Discussion Forums. The framework is currently being piloted by two organisations.

The current version of the framework has gone through a couple of revisions, document toolkit development and improvements by a number of contributors.

Committee Contributors

An independent committee of subject matter experts have been assembled to assess the framework for certification as an International Standard through the ISO 172024 conformity guidelines and requirements. The success of this process may lead to the certification of the framework as an international standard’s accredited framework.

Cyber Recovery Operational Framework is in a constant state of development. We consider the current version the starting point, and hence further development work is required to refine, extend and continuously improve the framework. If you have additional techniques, know about variations on one already covered, have examples of techniques in use, or have other relevant information, then we would like to hear from you.

We are looking for contributions in developing a lean version of the framework and in codifying both the comprehensive framework and a lean version, so if you have the time and skills and need to collaborate in this project, please do not hesitate to reach us at cyberframework@c-mric.org.
