RC.RT-4 Table Top exercise

Description

Table Top exercise (TTX) are discussion-based ‘what ifs’ exercises to assess scenarios and recovery measures required during an emergency [30]. TTXs are suitable for senior stakeholders, since it is discussion-based only and does not involve deploying equipment or other resources, however, it is equally important for assessing recovery capability, and understanding gaps in reaction, response and decision making. An exercise is a simulation of an emergency designed to validate the viability of one or more aspect of the contingency plan [30]. See RC.RP-6.
