RC.RP-3 Contact External Entities
Description
Document the contacts of any external entities, e.g. National Recovery Centres, Call-off Recovery Partners, Service Providers, Data Centres etc. This should include name, email, telephone, (secure phone where applicable), pagers, and other means of notifying the external parties of a recovery incident. As part of recovery readiness and planning, contacts of external entities responsible and obliged to support recovery exercises must be known and documented. This could be document in the recovery plan or recovery playbook (see RC.PL). It is important an organisation recovery teams know the contacts of any external entity that are obliged to assist in the event of cyber recovery exercise. See also RC.CI-6.
